Taylor played a limited reserve role for the Cardinals last season. He carried the ball just 20 times. He did catch 14 passes, though, making more of a mark in the passing game. Taylor has double-digit receptions every season in the league but hasn't topped 400-rushing yards four straight seasons. He turns 33 shortly after the season starts and is on his last legs. He might have a hard time keeping a job this season. Taylor remains a solid receiver but isn't much of a threat as a runner anymore. He still has some speed but lacks big-play ability and has never been a power back.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Taylor isn't even worth a look in PPR leagues. He used to be a fine reserve PPR back but those days are past him. He'll be lucky to be on an NFL roster all season.

Arizona Cardinals RB Chester Taylor had eight carries for 20 yards in Week 3 against the Seattle Seahawks. He also posted one catch for 12 yards. He had nine touches in the absence of RB Beanie Wells (hamstring), but RB Alfonso Smith had more than double the touches with 20.

Fantasy Impact: Taylor won't get on the field once Wells gets healthy. He doesn't bring much to the table at this point.

Chicago Bears RB Chester Taylor was back with the team at practice Tuesday, Aug. 30, after he left the team's complexes a day earlier thinking he had been released. However, there is still a chance he does get cut, since he is behind RBs Matt Forte, Marion Barber III and Kahlil Bell.

Fantasy Impact: Not sure why the Bears are keeping Taylor around, but don't count on it lasting after the next set of cuts.
