Summary

Quarterback Rank: #55
Overall: #295

Redman got in a little action as the top backup for Atlanta last season. He played five games, attempting 28 passes. He threw for 188 yards with an interception but failed to throw a touchdown pass. Redman did complete 64 percent of his passes. Redman has proven to be a solid No. 2 with his play the last few years. For his career, he has 21 touchdowns to 14 interceptions and completed at least 60 percent of his passes three of four seasons with the Falcons. Redman is 35 years old, though, so his chances of being an every-week starter are slim. He can be an effective backup with his experience and past success. Redman is a former high draft pick, so the talent is there. He is a plus good arm and is fairly accurate.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Redman has proven to be worth a look if forced into starting action. He certainly isn't going to hurt fantasy teams, but he also won't carry them. There is potential there for Redman, though. He'll take some chances downfield and make some big plays. Remember, he isn't worth a roster spot unless injury occurs.

Notes
