| San Diego Chargers rookie RB Jordan Todman plans to head to California soon with plans to join the team when the NFL lockout ends. Todman spent some time in San Diego after being drafted, meeting with some of the team's players. 'It was a chance for me to pick their mind and get some of the terminology down,' he said. 'We can't get the playbook yet, but at least it gave me a chance to get to know some of the guys.' If things go well for Todman, he could have a shot at being a change-of-pace back behind RB Ryan Mathews. Todman realizes he won't be handed anything, and he noted he plans to bust his tail to find a role within the organization. |
