'I feel like I'm in the running, whether I get it or not that'll be up to the coaches,' Kerley said. 'I'm not too worried about it, I hope I get it, who wouldn't want to be the No. 2 receiver? But No. 3 is alright too. No. 3 catches the ball just as much.' Kerley said he is recovered from a back issue which caused him to miss offseason workouts in Florida with QB Mark Sanchez and WR Santonio Holmes. |

| New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez said Tuesday, Oct. 25, that the team is happy with WR Jeremy Kerley, although he wouldn't touch on the debate between Kerley and the departed WR Derrick Mason (Texans). 'I don't know, they're different players at different stages of their career,' Sanchez said. 'But we're happy with what we see in Kerley. He's explosive, he's excited and you should see that guy light up when he gets on the field. We had pretty good chemistry so far and we just need to work it.' |
