SUMMARY
Running Back Rank: #97
Overall: #414

Ware got the most chances of his career last season, rushing the ball 46 times while catching 27 passes. He did most of his damage in the passing game, finishing with 170 yards. Ware did run for 163 yards but averaged just 3.5 yards per carry. Ware had fewer than 100-rushing yards his first three years in the league before last season. Ware has some value as a reserve running back but isn't likely starting anytime soon. Ware has the makeup to be a decent third-down back, a role he served much of last season. He has some size, but runs pretty well and has decent hands.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Ware has some upside if he starts getting the work but that is a big "if" at the moment. He just hasn't gotten the chances early in his career. He might be worth a late-round flier as a deep reserve, especially in PPR leagues, but that is about it. Ware could get 400 or 500 total yards and a touchdown or two if he starts getting more consistent work.
The New York Giants learned RB Andre Brown will be suspended four games for violating the league policy on performance-enhancing substances late this week. After RB Ahmad Bradshaw, they have RBs Danny Ware and Da'Rel Scott on the roster. Brown was expected to have a chance to compete for the No. 2 job, replacing the departed RB Brandon Jacobs (49ers). The team is now likely to have to draft a running back, or sign a cheap option via free agency.

New York Giants RB Danny Ware could see additional touches in Week 5 because of the injury to RB Brandon Jacobs (knee).
Fantasy Impact: Don't expect much. Ahmad Bradshaw should carry the load for the Giants this week.

New York Giants RB Danny Ware could receive some carries in the team's Week 5 game if RB Brandon Jacobs (knee) is unable to play.
Fantasy Impact: Ware isn't worth adding even if he gets a few more carries.
