Gonzalez played eight games last season but didn't catch a single pass. He was once again plagued by injury, causing him to miss some time. Gonzalez has played a full season just once in five seasons. He does have two seasons with 550-plus yards, though, and has some ability when healthy. Gonzalez is a big-play threat with good speed and solid hands. But as noted, he has lacked consistency and battled injuries, which hurts his chances for this coming year. A fresh start with a new team could be just the thing to get him going, though. He'll battle for the No. 4 receiver spot with the Patriots.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Gonzalez has upside because of the offense he plays in, but nothing is guaranteed for him in terms of playing time. He is a risk for fantasy teams. Consider him a late-round pick in deeper leagues. Gonzalez might get 500 yards and a few scores if things go his way, but his production likely will be sporadic in an offense with a ton of offensive weapons.

Fantasy Impact: He'll serve a depth role with the team and is capable of the big game in this offense. He is a good low risk signing for the Patriots. Gonzalez has some talent and has produced in the past.
