Tight End Rank: #61 Overall: #372
King saw his numbers really dip last season as the Panthers gave some other options a look at tight end. King had 19 receptions, his lowest total since his rookie season (2006). King had fewer than 200 yards for the second time in three seasons. He had a big season in 2007 but has been mediocre the last three years, averaging 22 receptions for 172 yards and two touchdowns. King isn't much of a pass catcher, but a top blocking tight end. King has good size and speed. He isn't outstanding in any one area, but makes plays when given the chance. He'll compete for the starting job in Arizona but likely will serve as a blocker as much as anything.

King isn't much of a fantasy option. He'll get around 25 catches for 160 yards and a score or two. Those numbers aren't helping many fantasy teams. There are a lot more exciting options out there for owners. |
