Running Back Rank: #79 Overall: #351
Ward fell down the Texans depth chart at running back, serving as the No. 3 much of the season. He had double-digit-carries three games but ran for just 145 yards, his lowest total since his rookie season. Ward has 95 carries the last two seasons with the Texans. He turns 32 before the start of the season and could be fighting for his NFL life. Ward is a former 1,000-yard back and solid backup so he has some value in a reserve role but should be couldn't on to carry much of the load. Ward has always been a big-play back. He can get to that next gear in a hurry and has solid moves in the open field. Ward also runs with some power, keeping his legs churning as tacklers try to bring him down.

Ward is about done. He could top last season but don't expect much more. He might get 400 total yards and a couple scores, making him a guy not likely to help fantasy teams. |
