Crayton didn't get a ton of work for the Chargers last season but was able to catch 23 passes in 14 games. His season high in yards was just 50, though. He has 51 receptions the last two seasons with the Chargers. Crayton broke a string of five straight years with at least 500 yards last year. At age 33, he isn't likely to see a jump in playing time or statistics. Crayton is best suited for a reserve role as a No. 3 or 4 receiver, a spot he'll compete for this season. Crayton is more of a possession receiver. He does a good job of finding open spaces in the secondary and has above-average hands.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Crayton took a step back last season. He isn't likely to rebound at his age. Crayton was never much of a fantasy threat even during his best days so don't bother with him at this stage of his career.

San Diego Chargers WR Patrick Crayton (ankle) made his regular season debut in Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs. He tied a game-high with five receptions for 47 yards, seeing plenty of work with WR Malcom Floyd (groin) not quite 100 percent.

Fantasy Impact: Crayton has some outside value in PPR leagues. He'll get his chances in this offense.
