SUMMARY
Wide Receiver Rank: #88
Overall: #243

Henderson started 11 of 16 games for the Saints but had a typical year for his standards. He had multiple receptions in eight games. Henderson made some big plays at times but had just 503 yards. He had more than 800 yards in 2009 but 484 yards the last two seasons. Henderson hasn't been as big of a factor in the offense as the Saints get more weapons around him. Expect Henderson to play a similar role this season. He has three of eight seasons with 700-plus yards. Henderson is a big-play receiver with plus speed and the ability to stretch the field in a hurry (averages 18.2 yards per catch for his career). He does tend to drop some passes, though, and is getting fewer targets in the Saints' offense the last few seasons.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Henderson will have the big game on occasion, but his erratic play is a concern for fantasy teams. He lacks consistency and his production seems to be going the wrong way. Avoid him for now but consider him waiver-wire material if he starts getting more consistent work. Henderson can get 500 yards and a few scores.
New Orleans Saints WRs Devery Henderson and Adrian Arrington could receive bigger roles in the offense next season if they are not able to re-sign impending free-agent WRs Marques Colston and Robert Meachem.

The New Orleans Saints may decide to release WR Devery Henderson this offseason if they are able to re-sign impending free-agent WR Robert Meachem. He is scheduled to count around $3.6 million against the salary cap next season.

New Orleans Saints WR Devery Henderson managed just four receptions for 49 yards and he was held out of the end zone in the Divisional Round playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers Saturday, Jan. 14.
Fantasy Impact: Not a terrible showing for Henderson, who has been up and down all season.

New Orleans Saints WR Devery Henderson had five receptions for 67 yards in the Week 12 win against the New York Giants Monday, Nov. 28. The yardage total was Henderson's highest since Week 2, when he posted his second 100-yard game in as many starts to begin the season.
Fantasy Impact: Henderson still isn't worth using because of his erratic play but he is capable of that big game every once in a while.

The New Orleans Saints piled up 62 points in Week 7 against the Indianapolis, but no thanks to WRs Lance Moore, Robert Meachem or Devery Henderson. Moore finished with three grabs for 44 yards, while Meachem ended up with two snares for 27 yards. Henderson was limited to just one six-yard catch.
Fantasy Impact: The secondary receivers for the Saints are really hit or miss for fantasy teams.

New Orleans Saints WR Lance Moore had two receptions for 46 yards in Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. WRs Robert Meachem had 23 yards on his only catch, while WR Devery Henderson (calf) picked up 12 yards on his only touch.
Fantasy Impact: Outside of Jimmy Graham and Marques Colston, the Saints receiving options have really been erratic.

New Orleans Saints WR Devery Henderson (calf) was able to practice in full Friday, Oct. 14, and he is considered probable for Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

New Orleans Saints WR Devery Henderson (calf) did not practice Wednesday, Oct. 12.
Fantasy Impact: At this point, we would just stay away from Henderson.

New Orleans Saints WR Devery Henderson (calf) and LB Will Herring (hamstring) were limited during practice Friday, Oct. 7. Both are listed as questionable for Week 5 and may be game-time decisions.

New Orleans Saints WR Devery Henderson (calf) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 6.
Fantasy Impact: Henderson is a bit of a concern, especially since his production has been up and down.
