Evans had a terrible first season with the Ravens, catching four passes in nine games. He was slowed by an ankle injury much of the season but wasn't able to produce even when on the field. He had a couple catches for 45 yards Week 2 but had just two receptions the rest of the season. Evans is 31 with a solid track record so his career isn't over just yet. But he might have a hard time getting another chance to start although he'll get a chance to compete for a starting job with the Jaguars this season. Evans might be best suited as a reserve big-play option. Evans has two 1,000-yard seasons in eight years but has fewer than 620 yards each of the past three seasons. Evans is a big-play threat with top speed and solid hands. He has a career average of 15.8 yards per reception, illustrating his top big-play ability. He lacks consistency, though, which has driven fantasy owners crazy throughout the years.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Evans hasn't done anything in recent seasons so don't expect a big turnaround, even if he ends up starting in Jacksonville. His best days are behind him. He can rebound from last season but don't expect him to get more than 700 yards and score just a few touchdowns. He is a reach at this stage of the game.
