SUMMARY
Quarterback Rank: #43
Overall: #238

Wallace started the last three games of the season because of injury to starter Colt McCoy. Wallace played alright in those starts, finishing the year with two touchdowns and two interceptions. He completed just 52 percent of his passes but did top 200 yards in one of his three starts. He also made plays with his legs, rushing for 70 yards. Wallace wants to be a starter in this league but remains a top NFL backup, a role he should continue to fill this season. He has starting experience and can hold his own just fine when starting. Wallace has improved his accuracy through the years and does a good job of making plays on the run because of his athletic ability. He misfires on some of his throws downfield, though, which holds him back from being an every-week NFL starter.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Wallace can be a worth a spot start if he finds his way in the starting lineup. He has some upside because of his running ability and past success when starting. But he isn't worth drafting for fantasy teams. And even if he starts a game or two, Wallace is no sure thing - as he proved last season.
Cleveland Browns QB Seneca Wallace is ready to help tutor QB Brandon Weeden and groom him to become the team's starting quarterback. 'I know my job going into my 10th season of being in this offense is to prepare Brandon Weeden to get him right and make sure he's ready to go for Day 1,' Wallace. 'This is a different beast. This is a first-rounder that we drafted, 22nd overall, and from a business standpoint, you know and everybody else knows and outsiders know that this kid's got to play. My job as a veteran guy is to make sure he's ready to play.'

Cleveland Browns QB Seneca Wallace said he intends to ask head coach Pat Shurmur for a chance to compete for the team's starting quarterback job next season during his exit interview Monday, Jan. 2. 'I think we all know at the end of the day, we don't want to sit here and keep trying to grind with bringing in a young quarterback and having to go through those growing pains,' Wallace said. 'You guys have been hard on us all season long, and what we need is to win and win now, and that's one of the biggest things is, whoever gives us that opportunity to do that, I think that should be the decision.'
Fantasy Impact: Wallace can ask for a chance to compete to start but he is best suited as a backup in the NFL.

Cleveland Browns QB Seneca Wallace wanted to show he could be a starter in the NFL in his third straight start in Week 17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, he managed to complete just 16 of 41 passes for 177 yards, no touchdowns and one interception. He was able to lead the team in rushing with 44 yards on three runs.

Cleveland Browns QB Seneca Wallace will make his third consecutive start in Week 17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers with QB Colt McCoy (concussion) sidelined. He wants to prove to the team that he should be the starting quarterback going forward. 'At the end of the day, I can control what I can control,' Wallace said Friday, Dec. 30. 'Yeah, I get frustrated that, hey, I feel like I deserve a shot or I want a shot. But at the end of the day, it's just a matter of making sure I lead my teammates in the right direction. The rest will take care of itself.' Wallace also admitted that he hasn't shared all of his knowledge of the West Coast offense with McCoy because he wanted to beat him for the job.

Cleveland Browns QB Colt McCoy (concussion) is not expected to play in Week 17 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, head coach Pat Shurmur said McCoy was 'much better' and has increased his activities. QB Seneca Wallace is expected to start his third straight game.

Cleveland Browns QB Seneca Wallace made his second straight start in Week 16 in place of the injured QB Colt McCoy (concussion). Wallace completed 19 of 33 passes for 147 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the Baltimore Ravens.
Fantasy Impact: Not a great showing but it wasn't a surprise considering the matchup.

Cleveland Browns QB Seneca Wallace will start in Week 16 in place of injured QB Colt McCoy (concussion). Wallace may also start Week 17 because McCoy is still having concussion symptoms.
Fantasy Impact: Wallace isn't much of a fantasy play at this point of the season. He seemed to give the Browns' offense a lift last week, though, which is encouraging.

Cleveland Browns QB Seneca Wallace completed 18 of 31 passes for 226 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Week 15 against the Arizona Cardinals. He made the start in place of QB Colt McCoy (concussion). Wallace also ran three times for 21 yards, and lost one fumble.
Fantasy Impact: Wallace played well enough for the Browns but not much of a factor for fantasy teams.

Cleveland Browns QB Seneca Wallace will start in Week 15 in place of injured QB Colt McCoy (concussion).
Fantasy Impact: Wallace is not a fantasy option - even in a starting role.
