Wide Receiver Rank: #301 Overall: #895
Curtis fought his way back from a battle with cancer and landed with the Dolphins for a couple game, catching a pass for six yards. He was released by Miami, though, and signed by the Chiefs as insurance for their playoff game. Curtis actually played in the playoff game, catching a pass for three yards. He has a long injury history, but also is a former 1,000-yard receiver with starting experience. He could find a role in 2011 if he shows some of his past explosiveness in camp and preseason action. He has plus speed and above-average hands, doing a good job of making a lot of big plays. But durability has been an issue for him throughout his career. Curtis has played three full seasons in eight years.

Curtis is too risky to draft, but monitor his progress early in the season. He could be worth a waiver-wire grab if getting the chances. Curtis is capable of making some big plays, so there is some upside there for him. |
