Quarterback Rank: #9 Overall: #43
Big Ben was suspended the first four games of the season, but didn't let that deter his 2010 season. Roethlisberger played at a high level during his 12 games of action. He still managed to throw for 3,000-plus yards and had 19 total touchdowns to just five interceptions. If Roethlisberger plays a full season, he throws for 4,267 yards and scores 25 touchdowns. He has just one season with 4,000-plus passing yards but has 28 or more scores twice in his career. The Steelers ran more last season but still didn't have a ton of success running the ball. Their passing game is the strength of their offense, especially with the emergence of receiver Mike Wallace. Roethlisberger has a great arm and is an accurate passer. He might be the best quarterback in the game at prolonging a play because of his size and strength.

Roethlisberger is a legit No. 1 quarterback. He is ready for a huge season and it wouldn't surprise to see 2011 be that season. Roethlisberger is a good guy to grab after the elite options as he can be a more than serviceable No. 1 for fantasy teams at a lower cost to fantasy teams. A season with 4,000-plus yards and 30 touchdowns is a real possibility.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger said he has started his offseason workouts earlier than usual. Roethlisberger began training at the team's facility last week. He talked to head coach Mike Tomlin about where he is in his career and about the future. 'When I talked to Mike, I said I don't know how much longer I have to play, no one does; it could be two years, three years, it could be eight years. Who knows?' Roethlisberger said. 'I'm hoping that I'm just starting in my prime. I've already been working out with (Garrett Giemont), our strength coach, already. I've never worked out this early. It's not like high-intensity, out killing myself, but I'm working out, I want to come to camp lighter than I've ever come, in better shape, because as you get to a certain point, a certain age in this football thing, your body doesn't recover like it used to.'

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger said he hopes new offensive coordinator Todd Haley does not drastically change the team's philosophy on offense. Roethlisberger feels players, particularly the young receiving corps, could have trouble adjusting to a new scheme. 'It would probably be easy for him to do,' Roethlisberger said about Haley possibly introducing a new offense to the Steelers. 'I don't know if it would be easy for us to learn it. We're so young on offense and the most-talented room in this whole building is probably wide receiver, no disrespect to anyone else. And they're also really young. They're still the tip of the iceberg in this offense and they did as well as they did last year. And they're just getting to the point that 'OK, this makes sense to me.''
